Decorative stitching on fabric. Generally involves non-lettering designs, but can also include lettering and/or monograms. Evolved from hand embroidery. Designs begin with artwork converted into a series of commands to be read by an embroidery machine's computer. Derived from an early method of machine embroidery where paper tapes or jacquards were punched with holes representing stitches. This is called digitizing or punching. Formats used to convert artwork can be jpg, pdf or any graphic format. We've done embroidery from rough sketches as well.
